As I was reading one of my many Christian books, I felt as if God was asking me where were the people with enough faith in Him so that He could show His signs, wonders, and miracles to them and through them. I felt as if He was challenging those who say they believe in Him to take a step of faith, to really believe that through Him they can do the impossible. He wants to show His power in us so that others will see and believe. That would bring Him glory. Where are those who are going to take a step of faith, who are willing to enter the furnace? Where are those who believe that God will deliver, that He will perform miracles? Many Christians complain that they don't see the extraordinary, but they are not willing to be the sacrifice. They are unwilling to step on the water to meet Jesus as Peter did, so why are they asking God to manifest Himself and to come with His power and glory if they are not ready to receive Him? When are you going to take your step of faith? God wants us to walk in faith because He will meet us while we walk towards Him. He wants us to believe that He will show up, that He will show Himself faithful in our lives, particularly in situations that seem impossible to us. He wants to do the impossible for us and through us. He delights in those who have a bold faith! I felt the Lord saying to His church: "I want you to have faith in Me. I gave my life for you. You cannot fail. My promises will come to pass. I do not fail. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. I Am here. I want your faith. I long for your faith." So, take your step of faith today, it will be worth it! "And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him". Hebrews 11:6
